Nutrition in Journey gym

The journey gym infomercial is finally almost here. We were shooting the journey gym short form infomercial last week where we worked around the clock for 4 days of prep and shooting at the studio with our 4 Star Trainers, our production crew, our product team and our in house team.

The Star Trainers did a phenomenal job of demonstrating the versatility, applicability and portability of the journey gym, especially considering it was a very cold week in Oregon and we were in an unheated warehouse.  The glamour was definitely not apparent whatsoever here, but in the end our Star Trainers delivered.  

You will all be beyond pleased with the results and we can't wait to share it with you.  We will have the final cuts of the infomercial in May and the infomercial will begin to air in June 2012 across the nation.  Also, the offer that we will be able to provide our customers to get fit will be so much more than just the journey gym from now on.  Just wait.

It isn't every day a retail store finds ways to make more money, but in a new partnership with Precor Home Fitness Stores, journey gym is helping the fitness equipment retail chain increase how much it makes on its sales this holiday season. 

High end home fitness equipment can easily cost thousands of dollars and buyers are often savvy enough to push for deals to tip the purchase in their favor. Often this includes perks such as free shipping or installation, or even deep price discounts. 

Some retailers find ways around this. One way is to offer added value by throwing in accessories or other products that in the end cost far less than discounting the retail product, but to the customer add real, practical value to the purchase. Volkswagen® did this very successfully with their Trek® with a Jetta® giveaway.
